Des Hunt's visit

Today, Des Hunt came to visit Waikowhai Primary School to tell us about his back story about him and how he started writing. 

 He is a popular Author that creates story for 9-12 year old kids. The story's he write involve action, adventure and science.  He used to be a chemistry person and so he used that to make all of the stuff interesting. He gave us some information about him and his life and what he does. 

Favourite part 

My Favourite part of the Presentation was when he made He re made the lighter and made it a exploration launcher.   It was my favourite because he made it his own and he made a bigger version of the exploitation launcher. I think it was important because you could re use the fly spray of some thing fun. 

Now that I have seen the presentation

 - I would dependently want to read more Des Hunt books because he make them sound like they are great books. 

-I would also want to try the cool tricks that he did because they look like they are a lot of fun to do.
