  1. Hey Amaya,
It is me, Lavinia. Nice, your doing well with the Summer Learning Journey. Keep going! I really liked how you wrote about the activity. What you could add next time is, you could add a photo of Nz or add a photo that is relevant. Other than that, nice. Have a great Christmas! See Ya Later Blogger!

  2. Kia ora Amaya,

Happy New Year and congratulations on completing your very first activity on the Summer Learning Journey this year. I am so excited to see so many of the students at Waikowhai kick-starting their journey so early. This is incredible.

What a great way to kick-start your journey, you have shared three really interesting facts. I also learnt that 30% of New Zealand was covered by forest. This is why our country is so unique and beautiful. I am lucky enough to live on the edge of a native bush, which is like a small scale forest. We have many native birds visiting our backyard such as the kereru's, tui's, fantails, and many more. Have you been to a forest in New Zealand before? If so, What kind of animals and plants did you see there?

I am so excited that you have decided to join us on this journey. I look forward to reading more of your magnificent posts.

    Kindest regards,
    Megan :)
