Summer learning journey ( practice )

Kon'nichiwa bloggers of the world

Today Te Waka Ako and Te Ana Ako got introduced to The Summer learning journey. Te Waka Ako have done the Summer Learning Journey before. The Summer learning journey is a sight about a specific topic and you get about 60 different actives. For the practice activity we had to choose a country, I choose Japan because My mums Japaneses and  I know some things about Japan but not a lot.

3 interesting facts bout Japan

Japan is made of 6,852 islands
The highest mount in Japan is Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji stands at 3,776m.

For the third challenge we had to write letter to a Family member or friend.

Dear Brooklyn
How are you today?
For the holidays this year I was thinking about going to Japan at see my mums family and spend time with them. I had an extra ticket and I thought it would be great if you came and had a look around Japan with me. We will only be in japan for a week. If you would like to come please send me another letter.
Thanks a lot
From Amaya

Reflection

I found this practice challenge easy because my mums Japanese and I have already been to japan so I have a lot of experience in Japan. I think I would be able to do the Summer Learning Journey in the Holidays.

Goodbye bloggers of the world till I do another blog post on the Summer learning journey.

  1. Kia Ora Amaya! Nice work with your practise. I really liked how you added photos that related to your blog. What you could check next time is, your spelling like when you put "Activities." You put actives, instead of activities. Other than that, well done! If you would like to see some of my work, here is the link. wpslaviniac.blogspot.com. Please feel free to leave a comment or some feedback for me.

  2. Kia ora Amaya,

Welcome back to the Summer Learning Journey. I am really excited to see returning participants from last years programme. I am excited to see that you have jumped on to do some past activities. We have had a number of students jumping onto the new programme and starting their journey already. Find the new activities here https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities. We have about 70 other students who have already started the programme joined you on this journey. Be sure to head on over to the website and start the activities today.

You have put in a lot of effort with you activity including pictures and two activities in one post. That is a really good idea. Wow, I did not know that Japan was made up of so many islands. That is absolutely fascinating. Do you know which islands are the main islands? How many people live on the main island?

I cannot wait to see more of your incredible posts. If you have any questions feel free to email me on akohikoslj@gmail.com.

Enjoy your last week of school,
    Megan
